What Claude Can Do with aqoon

Once you have connected Claude to aqoon, Claude gains a set of tools it can use automatically whenever a question touches your knowledge base. You do not need to do anything special — just ask Claude naturally.

Available Tools

What Claude can do How to ask
Search your documents — hybrid text and semantic search across all granted collections, with optional filtering by collection "Find everything about project deadlines in my notes."
List your collections — see all collections with document counts and descriptions "What collections do I have in aqoon?"
Get document details — retrieve the full content and metadata for a specific document "Show me the full content of that document about the Q3 plan."
Search by tag — find all documents with a specific tag "Show me everything tagged 'important' in my research collection."

Usage Examples

Here are some natural ways to use aqoon through Claude:

"Search my aqoon knowledge base for information about the onboarding process."

"What documents do I have about machine learning in the Research collection?"

"Summarise everything in my notes tagged 'meeting-notes' from last quarter."

Claude will call the appropriate aqoon tool, retrieve the relevant content, and weave it into its response. You can ask follow-up questions and Claude will search again as needed.

Controlling Which Collections Claude Sees

The API key you used during setup determines which collections Claude can access:

  • Full-access key — Claude can see all your collections (owned and subscribed). Best for personal use.
  • Scoped key — Claude can only see the collections you explicitly granted to that key. Useful if you want to limit what Claude searches.

To change which collections a scoped key can access, go to API Keys in the sidebar and click Manage on the relevant key.
